According to Aurelius What You Should Fear 1 Thing in Life?

The rest is not so crucial.

From nilshuber on

When I said 1 thing that you should fear, what came to your mind first? Do you have personal fears? Could it be a heightphobia? Maybe monophobia? Or the common one death?

Leaving aside personal fears, would the only fear left be fear of death?

We all have some time to live on this earth. Birth, development, and death, respectively.

What you will do in this life process? Have you really lived? or are you really living? Or you just in here, to fill the small blank in the earth then leave?

Living is up to us. What you want to achieve in your life? Why are you in here? How do you want to prioritize things?

These are the questions to make your life more meaningful, to fill the blanks not just for the physically, but purposely.

How you dress, which movie you watch, which music you enjoy, which medium story you read. These samples can tell some about you to people.

If you do these things, not for yourself, but impress to others then you’re dead.

If you are not where you want to be, who you want to be, you’re dead again.

If you fear failure and you’re not stepping, if you can’t get out of your comfort zone, you’re dead.

You will fail, you will do stupid things, doesn’t matter. Get up and just live your own life.

When death comes,

Would you prefer the peace and gratitude of having done what you wanted in life and living it?

Or would you like to experience the regret of not starting life at all?

You know what? You should only fear 1 thing in your life

It is not death that a man should fear, but he should fear never beginning to live.
